Description
Two PatSports (ChemAthlon and CrossLingual Retrieving) were the focus of the new interactive prototype evaluation campaign called PatOlympics. Referees worked together with research and industry teams and their systems. The objective: a new way to directly interact with 'the other side' and to concentrate discussions away from powerpoints and into real systems under development.
Tasks
Participating teams, under the guidance of a referee, have to find patents relevant to the referee's request for information.
Important Dates
PatOlympics took place in June 2010 and 2011. The organizers are still considering the dates for 2012.
