Abstract
This report is a supporting document for Deliverable D 8.4.1 (first JPA D 8.7) of the IST NoE AIM@SHAPE. The actual deliverable D 8.4.1 – Summer/winter School – is an event, namely a researcher school organized by the network consortium to provide training to its members, especially its PhD students and Post Docs, on important research developments related to the network’s theme. The training of AIM@SHAPE members is, however, only one aspect of such an event, it is also an openness activity, with researchers not belonging to the network being most welcome to attend. The lecturers are not only invited from within the network, but also from outside to provide additional views on current developments.
