Abstract

The deliverable presents an overview of the existing visualisation techniques which help the user to navigate and compute queries inside large domain-independent multimedia databases. In the VITALAS project, many documents are composed of different media: image, audio, video and text. The aim of this deliverable is to identify the families of visual tools that would be useful to study and develop in VITALAS WP7.
