Abstract
This document describes the evaluation of the quality of automatically generated image captions. This evaluation addresses the intrinsic quality of the What?- and Where?-facet of the Panofsky-Shatford matrix for the caption components of keywords (both Concept and Toponym Ontology) and multi-document summaries. This corresponds to the evaluation points 2.1 and 2.2 (see D5.1) for keywords (both Concept and Toponym Ontology) as well as the evaluation point 2.3 for multi-document summarization.
