Abstract
This document presents test cases and plans to identify the strengths and weaknesses of search-by- example as it is implemented in the SAPIR search engine. The test cases and the plans are based upon a set of scenarios and user requirements and the capabilities of the SAPIR components, and finally adjusted to the user interfaces developed within the project.
