AGRO-INDUSTRIAL GROUP OF PARLIAMENT WILL SUPPORT VOTE OF NO-CONFIDENCE TO GOVERNMENT MOSCOW, March 14, 2001. /From RIA Novosti correspondent Pavel Shevtsov/. The Agro-Industrial Deputy Group will support the vote of no-confidence to the Russian government, said its leader Nikolai Kharitonov at today's plenary meeting of the State Duma (Lower House of Parliament). Kharitonov sharply criticized the activity of the government, particularly concerning its agrarian policy. The deputy called upon his colleagues to vote for the government's resignation. Since Wednesday morning the deputy factions have been expressing in debates in the State Duma their attitude to the Communist Party of Russia's initiative to express a no-confidence vote to the country's government.
