SECURITY COUNCIL SECRETARY OF RUSSIA ARRIVED IN WASHINGTON








WASHINGTON, March 14. /From RIA Novosti correspondent Arkady Orlov/. Security Council Secretary of Russia Sergei Ivanov arrived in Washington Tuesday evening, the local time.


	On Wednesday morning he will meet with the US president's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice and the State Secretary, Colin Powell. It is expected that on the same day Sergei Ivanov will meet with journalists.


	The working visit of Ivanov is the first possibility for close contacts in Washington with representatives of the new republican administration, including talks between Sergei Ivanov and Condoleezza Rice.


	Official representative of the US State Department Richard Boucher reported that the American side hopes that the whole spectre of Russian-US relations will be discussed.
