IRAN TO ASSEMBLE RUSSIAN LINERS: VICE-PREMIER MOSCOW, MARCH 12 (from RIA Novosti's Dmitri Znamensky) - A protocol may be signed while President Mohammad Khatami is in Russia to license Iranian assembly of Russian TU 204 and TU 334 passenger and cargo jumbo jets. The prospects will be more clear after both countries' experts analyse them, Ilya Klebanov, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, said to newsmen. The Russian party is aware of the Iranian president being interested in a plane assembly agreement. Mr. Klebanov cannot now specify the day it may be signed, but is sure it will be within a month.
