ACT OF TERRORISM COMMITTED IN CHECHNYA








PYATIGORSK, March 12. /Edgar Saroyan, RIA Novosti correspondent/. An act of terrorism was committed in Chechnya on the railroad. The press service of the North Caucasus Headquarters of the Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti there were no casualties.


	The press service disclosed that an unidentified explosive device had gone off under the railroad track between Kadi-Yurt and Khasavyurt. The blast left a crater 67 centimeters in diameter and 40 centimeters deep.


	Traffic was stopped for several hours on the railroad.


	Investigation is underway.
