RUSSIA-BELARUS UNION STATE COUNCIL'S SESSION DUE IN MOSCOW MOSCOW, MARCH 11. /RIA NOVOSTI'S CORRESPONDENT ALEXANDER SHISHLO/. This year's first session of the Supreme State Council of the Russia-Belarus Union will be held in Moscow on April 2, reports acting state secretary Igor Selivanov. Five or six items are to be placed on the agenda, with the approval of the Union's 2001 budget being in focus. Selivanov recalled that the budget was adopted by the Union's parliamentary assembly on March 2. At this session will be held cultural events on the 5th anniversary of the Russia-Belarus unification. The two countries' presidents are likely to take part, said Igor Selivanov.
