CHECHNYA: FEDERAL CHANNEL ONE RESUMES BROADCASTS MOSCOW, MARCH 7, RIA NOVOSTI - The Russian-based ORT television company, national Channel One, resumed broadcasts in Chechnya, 20.15, Moscow time, tonight, with a retransmitter commissioned on Yastrebinaya, Hawk Hill. Its casts are available to the entire Chechen flatland, which accounts for 60% of the republic's population, says Sergei Frolov, head of the updating and development department of the federal Mass Media Ministry.
