PUTIN TO ADDRESS FEDERAL ASSEMBLY MARCH 26 MOSCOW, MARCH 7, 2001, /RIA-NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT/ -- CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) leader Gennady Zyuganov talked to reporters at the State-Duma building here today, telling them that President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation will address the Federal Assembly March 26. (The Federal Assembly, or national Parliament, comprises the upper house and the lower house, e.g. the Federation Council and the State Duma -- Ed.). Meanwhile RIA-NOVOSTI's sources inside the Kremlin administration confirmed the fact that Putin will address the Federal Assembly late this March, nonetheless adding that specific deadlines hadn't yet been determined. Work is still proceeding apace to finalize the text of Putin's address, RIA-NOVOSTI's interlocutors noted.
