The State Duma, the Russian parliament's lower house, will quite soon receive a legislative package to put an end to bureaucratic sway in the national economy. Bills to liberalise banking and reform the judiciary will come next to be followed by legislative initiatives to streamline contacts between law-enforcement and legal executive bodies--in particular, to delineate competences of the prosecution and the judiciary, President Vladimir Putin said in an internet interview.
