RUSSIAN BORDER GUARDS ATTACK FROM THE TERRITORY OF AFGHANISTAN








DUSHANBE, MARCH 6, 2001 (FROM RIA NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT NAZHMIDIN AZIZOV) -- A group of Russian border guards, who serve on Tajik border with Afghanistan, were shelled on Monday evening from the Afghan territory.


	The press service of the Moscow frontier detachment in Tajikistan reported that the fire was opened from two points. The retaliatory fire was not opened. Nobody suffered.
