At a press conference in Yekaterinburg /the Urals/ Chief Rabbi of the Russian Federation Berl Lazar said that future generations of Jews would prefer to stay in Russia. President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS Levi Levayev who also took part in the press conference said that the federal and regional authorities believe that it is of paramount importance to bring up Russia's new generations in respect of the national traditions of all the peoples inhabiting Russia. True patriotic values are based on the commandments being advocated by traditional religious confessions in Russia rather than on propaganda slogans. That's why the development of traditional Jewish education in Yekaterinburg is a landmark achievement in this respsct, said Mr Levayev.
