LOCKHEED MARTIN CORP. TO SELL RADAR TO ESTONIA








TALLINN, MARCH 5, 2001 /RIA NOVOSTI CORRESPONDENT ALEXANDER VERETENNIKOV/ -- Estonia will purchase a powerful radar with an operational radius of 300 km from Lockheed Martin Corp. /USA/. The Defence Ministry of Estonia reports that about 200 mln krones are included in the budget to buy the radar.


	This installation is necessary for the Air Force and aerodrome controllers to flight-follow civil aviation planes.
