GOVERNMENT TO SIGN DECREE ON KURSK LIFTING MOSCOW, March 5, 2001 /from RIA Novosti correspondent Alla Isayeva/ -- Vice-Premier Ilya Klebanov has reported that a governmental decree will soon be signed on the Kursk salvage effort. Klebanov who heads the state commission investigating reasons for the atomic submarine's catastrophe rejected reports by some mass media alleging postponement or cancellation of the Kursk lifting operation altogether. "Neither the President nor the government has cancelled the decision to raise the submarine this year," the Vice-Premier said.
