REPORTS OF CHECHEN MILITANTS BREAKING THROUGH BORDER IN DAGESTAN NOT CONFIRMED








MAKHACHKALA, March 3. /Dekabr Beibutov, RIA Novosti correspondent/. The Dagestani Interior Ministry has no information to confirm reports of a group of Chechen militants attempting to break through the Chechen-Dagestani administrative border last night. Some media outlets ran the reports on Saturday.


	Sources in the Dagestani Interior Ministry disclosed frontier police stations report that neither police personnel, nor assigned forces were engaged in armed combat last night. No movement of armed groups was detected in the adjacent Chechen territory.
