ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO SENSES "WESTERN INFLUENCE" ON DOMESTIC SETUP IN UKRAINE MINSK, March 2. /RIA Novosti's correspondent Olesya Luchaninova/. Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko sees "Western influence" on the domestic situation in Ukraine. Appearing before the chiefs of Belarussian diplomatic missions accredited abroad, Lukashenko said that "Western interest is traced" in the present tense political situation in Ukraine. He reproached the Ukrainian leadership for "taking a wrong political course fitting 'both ours and yours'". Meanwhile, "in politics, especially during a transitional period, a clear-cut and definite position should be kept to", Lukashenko stressed.
