NEW GORNY KARABAKH PROPOSALS IN PREPARATION BAKU, March 2. /RIA Novosti's correspondent Gerai Dadashev/. Very soon the OSCE Minsk group for settling the Nagorny Karabakh conflict will come up with new proposals. At a meeting in Baku with representatives of the opposition parties of Azerbaijan, acting OSCE chairman Mircea Dan Geoana, Rumanian Foreign Minister, said that these proposals will "seriously differ from preceding and hold more promise". Nagorny Karabakh is an Armenian-populated region on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Mircea Dan Geoana expressed concern over the "warlike sentiments" in Azerbaijan. He stressed that the world public is not in favour of the military variant of settling the conflict and invited Azeri people "to display more patience". Representatives of the Azeri opposition parties assessed the 8-year activities of the OSCE Minsk group as "unfair and useless".
