TERRORIST ATTACK ON CHECHEN RAILWAY PYATIGORSK, 2 March. /Corr. RIA Novosti Edgar Saroyan/. An auxiliary diesel train has been extensively damaged by an explosion on the main way of the Kadi-yurt - Khacavyurt railway in Chechnya. The press-service of the North Caucasus Interior Ministry has reported that Chechen separatists were responsible for the blast which occurred during the day and wrecked the locomotive. A 1.5 metre wide and two metre deep crater was left by the explosion, while the railroad was closed to traffic for eight hours. No injuries have been reported.
