When welcoming the high Russian guest the general secretary asked Vladimir Putin about his impression of Vietnam. According to the Russian president, the reception was very warm, truly friendly and surpassed all expectations. More than that, Putin said, businesslike and concrete negotiations took place in Hanoi. Speaking about the forthcoming meeting of Vladimir Putin with graduates of Soviet and Russian higher schools, Le Kha Phieu pointed out that there were so many people who wished to meet with the Russian president that the palace where the meeting will be held was not able to give all of them the opportunity to be present. The Russian leader pointed out once again that the Russian delegation feels everywhere, even in the streets, that the Vietnamese people shows great interest in it.
