UKRAINE, ARMENIA TAKE INTEREST IN EXPANDING COOPERATION KIEV, March 1. /From RIA Novosti correspondent Viktor Demidenko/. Leonid Kuchma and Robert Kocharyan, respective Presidents of Ukraine and Armenia, the latter currently being on a two-day visit to Kiev, signed a bilateral economic cooperation agreement on Thursday. Also signed during President Kocharyan's stay in Kiev were intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in preventing emergencies situations and dealing with their aftermath, and on mutual recognition and equivalence of diplomas and scholarly degrees, and others. Following the signing ceremony, the presidents held a joint news conference where they spoke out in favour of expanding cooperation in all areas.
