RUSSIAN TELECASTING OPENED IN CHECHNYA








GROZNY, March 1. /RIA Novosti's correspondent Alexander Stepanov/. The first retransmitter began working in Chechnya, opening RTR television channel and Radio Russia broadcasting. The retransmitter stands atop the Yastrebinaya hill in the Grozny district. 


	Before that broadcasting in Chechnya was spotted and faulty. 


	Now television signals can be received in most of plainland Chechnya. 


	Start of ORT telecasting is scheduled for May.
