APPROVAL OF THE STATUTES OF THE RUSSIAN FOUNDATION OF FUNDAMENTAL
SEARCH








MOSCOW, March 6.  (Corr. Ria " Novosti ").  The Russian government has
enterine the Statutes of the Russian Foundation of fundamental search.
This public organization benevole will be creee on the instruction of
president Vladimir Poutine to support fundamental scientific search.


Under the terms of the Statutes, the Foundation has the right to
choose the fields of search and to distribute the sums allouees by the
federal budget between the scientific sectors.

The Russian ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies has ete
responsibility of subject to the government the candidature for the
post of president of the Foundation from here March 15.
