RUSSIA ESTABLISHES THE CONTROL OF THE LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS
IMPORT








MOSCOW, March 6.  (Corr. Ria " Novosti ").  Following the epidemic of
foot-and-mouth disease in certain countries of Western Europe, the
national Service of medical and epidemiologic control of Russia A
requires to make more rigorous the control of the livestock products
import of which those provided has title of humanitarian aid.

The representants of the national Service of medical control in the
areas and transport received a circular letter requiring prohibition
for the travellers coming from Great Britain of the entree of the
products edges intend has the individual consumption of which
sandwiches etc.

Medical service A also requires to establish a rigorous control of the
sale of meat and products edges and to prohibit their sale without
papers confirming their quality and which they presentent no danger.
