A REFERENDUM IN REPUBLIC OF TYVA ON THE NEW CONSTITUTION








KYZYL, March 6.  (Corr. Ria " Novosti " Dina Oyoun).  A referendum on
the project of new constitution republicaine will take place on May 6
in Republic of Tyva (Southern of Siberie) forming integrante part of
the Federation of Russia.  This decision has ete taken Tuesday by the
Parliament of Tyva.

The participants has this referendum will have to answer has only one
question:  " do you Accept the Constitution of the republic of Tyva? "
The fundamental bill is already publishes in the mediae of Tyva.

With the difference of the Constitution into force adopted in 1993,
there is not in this draft provision concerning the souverainete of
the Republic, but the property fonciere is autorisee there.  The
prevoit project also the creation of a Parliament has two rooms and
cancels the post of president of the republic.
