SERVICE VETERINAIRE OF RUSSIA A PROHIBITS THE IMPORTATION OF FISH AND
PRESERVES OF GREAT BRITAIN








MOSCOW, March 2.  / Corr.  RIA " Novosti " Alexandre CHICHLO /. the
service veterinaire of Russia prohibited Friday the importation of
fish and of preserves of Great Britain, has advertisement the
principal doctor veterinaire of Russia, Mikhail Kravtchouk.




Prohibition applies only to the products coming from the British
ports, has it explains.  The Russian doctors veterinaires already
received instructions to reinforce controls, has additions Mikhail
Kravtchouk.




The Service veterinaire of Russia had already prohibited the
importation of betail and all types of livestock products coming from
Great Britain because of a growth of the cases of foot-and-mouth
disease in this country.




Since the beginning of the years 1990, Russia avoids importing beef of
Great Britain.
