TERRORIST ACT COMMITTED IN MOSCOW AGAINST PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTY








MOSCOW, March 14. /RIA Novosti correspondents Galina Filippova and Yuri Yumashev/. The car of Bashir Kodzoyev, a deputy of the Unity faction in the lower house of parliament, came under fire in Moscow. The deputy survived the attack. His jeep came under attack outside a building belonging to LUKOIL company, Moscow's law enforcement bodies said.


	According to the source, his chauffeur died in the shooting. The deputy with serious wounds was taken to the Sklifosovsky hospital. 


	The deputy's car carried special number plates. 


	Bashir Kodzoyev, born in 1967, is an Ingush by nationality.


	Before being elected to the present Duma Kodzoyev was deputy director-general of OAO Irkutsk Ceramic Works. His permanent residence is in Irkutsk. A member of the Unity party, Kodzoyev in the State Duma is deputy chairman of the committee on North and Far East affairs.
