PRIMORYE DISCUSSES BORDER COOPERATION VLADIVOSTOK, March 14, 2001. /from RIA Novosti correspondent Larisa Beloivan/--Vladivostok, the administrative centre of the Far Eastern territory of Primorye, has launched a two-day working meeting of experts to discuss issues of border cooperation in the north-west of the Pacific Region. The meeting is being attended by deputy heads of borderguard departments of four countries of the Asia-Pacific Region. Representatives of the US Coastal Security, the Department of Security in the Sea of Japan and the National Maritime Police Agency of the Republic of Korea will discuss measures to intensify the fight against smuggling of arms, drugs and bio-resources with Russian borderguards.
