NEITHER RUSSIA NOR KFOR MADE DECISION TO REDEPLOY RUSSIAN PEACEKEEPERS IN KOSOVO MOSCOW, MARCH 12, RIA NOVOSTI - In spite of tension escalation in Kosovo and on the Kosovo-Macedonian border, neither the Russian military nor the KFOR command have made decision to re-deploy Russian peacekeepers or change zones under their control, said the head of the Russian Defence Ministry's Department for International Military Cooperation, Colonel-General Leonid Ivashov. The general noted that the Russian peacekeepers' command had taken all possible measures to increase the troops' vigilance and combat readiness and to reinforce Russian peacekeeping patrols in Kosovo.
