In the meantime, an informed source in the Russian foreign ministry reports that talks between Khatami and Russian President Vladimir Putin will include a thorough exchange of opinions on Russian-Iranian relations, prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and a series of international and regional problems. In the course of the talks, the sides will sign a number of documents, including an agreement on the basic principles of Russian-Iranian relationships and cooperation and joint statements concerning terrorism, international security and strategic stability, says the source.
