ARMENIA NOT TO STOP POWER SUPPLIES TO GEORGIA DESPITE IMPORTER'S STALE DEBT YEREVAN, MARCH 10 (from RIA Novosti's Avet Demuryan) - Georgia is owing US$20 million on Armenian power supplies, and does not intend to pay within the year. Despite that, Armenia is true to extraordinary relations with the neighbouring country and will not suspend electricity exports to Georgia or recur to other measures to have the debt paid. Negotiations on the issue will go on, Vardan Khachatryan, Armenia's Finance and Economy Minister, said to journalists.
