RUSSIAN STATE DUMA CHAIRMAN TO VISIT IRAQ








MOSCOW, March 6. /RIA Novosti/. Chairman of the Russian State Duma (lower house of the Russian parliament) Gennadi Seleznyov will pay an official visit to Iraq on March 16-18, the parliamentary press-service informed the press on Tuesday.


	This will be the first time that top Russian politician has visited Iraq since 1990 economic sanctions were imposed.


	Gennadi Seleznyov will be accompanied by representatives of the International Committee of the State Duma and deputy group on liaison with parliaments of the Arab states.
