VLADIMIR PUTIN IS "IN GENERAL SATISFIED: WITH RESULTS OF NEARLY A YEAR OF HIS PRESIDENCY

Vladimir Putin is "on the whole pleased" with the results of the year that has nearly passed since he was elected President of Russia. As the head of state said, replying to Internet-media questions, "the year has been very tense - a real working year". 


	"We worked not only for fear but for conscience' sake" and "practically along every line" set down in the President's message to the Federal Assembly "we succeeded in advancing," Putin said.
