The Palestinians "will continue struggling until the Palestinian flag is hoisted over Jerusalem," said Yasser Arafat, head of the Palestine Autonomy after the festive prayer at the Halil Vazik mosque in Gaza. Speaking to the people assembled near the mosque to mark the first day of the Muslim Id al-Adha feast on Sunday, Yasser Arafat said that he was addressing these words both to the Palestinian people, and to all Arab and Islamic countries. "We shall continue our struggle despite the Israeli blockade and military pressure," he stressed.
