YEGOR STROYEV'S VISIT TO CZECHIA OVER








PRAGUE, March 2, 2001. /From RIA Novosti correspondent Viktor Prusakov/--According to Chairman of Russia's Federation Council Yegor Stroyev, his meeting with Czech President Vaclav Havel was "a friendly one." Friday was the last day of Stroyev's official visit to Czechia.


	Talking to the Czech leader, Stroyev passed on greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had said he looked forward to their cooperation and hoped to hold a meeting with Havel in Czechia. Apparently pleased, the Czech president replied that he would like to develop friendly contacts with Russian politicians, Stroyev said.


	"Sincerity is the basis of our relations," the speaker quoted Havel as saying.
