ALVARO GIL-ROBLES DISCUSSES SITUATION CONCERNING HUMAN RIGHTS








MOSCOW,  March 2, 2001. /From RIA Novosti's Galina Filippova/. Chairman of the parliamentary international committee Dmitry Rogozin and the Council of Europe's Human Rights Commissioner Alvares Gil-Robles discussed on Friday the main points of a report on Chechnya Gil-Robles will be delivering at a session of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Rogozin told this to the press after meeting Gil-Robles, noting that the report will deal with the situation concerning human rights in Chechnya and the rest of Russia.


	In his words, they also discussed cooperation between European countries in combating terrorism and settling interethnic conflicts.
