STAATSDUMA CHAIRMAN DISCUSSED THE FATE OF THE ORBITAL STATION " ME "
WITH THE PRESIDENT

the chairman of the Staatsduma (House of Commons of the parliament of
Russia) Gennadi Selesnjow discussed the suggestion of delegates with
president Vladimir Putin over the examination of the decision over
sinking the station " me ".  That indicated Selesnjow at the plenary
session of the Staatsduma in answer of the question of the delegate to
the KPdRF parliamentary group Vladimir Wolkow.  It did not specify,
when it had treated this question concretely with the head of state.


Approximately one month ago the Staatsduma made a resolution, in which
she recommended to the president and the government to check the
decision over sinking the station " me ".
