SPEAKER OF THE STAATSDUMA RUSSIA MET WITH THE IRANIAN
PRESIDENT








MOSCOW, 14 March.  (RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent Pawel
Schewzow).  Chairman of the Staatsduma (House of Commons of the
Russian parliament) Gennadi Selesnjow met with the Iranian president
Mohammad Khatami, which stays in Russia to an official attendance.  In
the discussion took part vice-speakers of the parliamentary group of
the liberal-democratic party of Russia Vladimir Shirinowski and
vice-speaker of the House of Commons Artur Tschilingarow, which
represents the interests of the group of delegates of " regions of
Russia ".
