IGOR IWANOW:  RUSSIA IS INTERESTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
DENMARK








MOSCOW, 13 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" correspondents Jelena Gluschakowa
and Kristina Rodriges /. Russia is in the partnership with Denmark
interested.  The avowed on the Tuesday of the ministers of foreign
affairs of the RF Igor Iwanow with the initialization of the
negotiations with the director/conductor of the State Department of
Denmark Mogens Lykketoft.

Iwanow emphasized that we have all necessary possibilities for the
activation of our relations.  This corresponds to the interests of the
peoples of our countries.

To expect it is that the pages will check the question over the
development of the relations of Denmark with Russian northwest
regions, among them with the area Leningrad, with consideration of the
European Union extension and in the second half of 2002 which are
approaching Praesidierens Denmark in the European union.

Impossible it is also that the question over perspectives of further
co-operation between Moscow and Copenhagen in different economic areas
is raised.  Perhaps also ways to the development of the mutual trade
and to the recess of the trade relations are checked.
