OF RUSSIA SECRETARIES OF DEFENSE MILITARY-TECHNICAL CO-OPERATION
DISCUSSES WITH THE IRANIAN COLLEAGUE








MOSCOW, 12 March.  (RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent).  Of
Russia Secretary of Defense Igor Sergejew Vice Admiral Ali Shamkhani
meets, which arrived on Monday in Moscow in the stock of the Iranian
government delegation, explained the speaker of the Russian Ministry
of Defense on 14 March in the morning with the boss of the Iranian
office for war.

The discussion will have excluding a office-referred character.

The Ministers will presumably discuss the fulfilment of the
declarations/agreements over the resumption and development of
military-technical co-operation, which were achieved in the context of
the official attendance by Igor Sergejew in Iran in previous
September.

The speaker of the Ministry of Defense stressed here " co-operation
between Russia and Iran within the area of military-technical
co-operation against third countries does not arrange themselves and
security and stability in the region will not threaten ".
