**time-out** IRAN PRESIDENT TO OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE IN MOSCOW
ARRIVE








MOSCOW, 12 March (of RIA Nowosti Korr.)  Of Iran president Mohammad
Khatami on Monday to an official three-day-long attendance in Moscow
arrived.  This is the first attendance on this level in the history of
the Russian-Iranian relations.

As Khatami in the apron of the attendance explained, bilateral
co-operation was situated between Russia and Iran in politics,
economics, science, technique, culture and other areas like also their
cooperating in the international arena in the interest of both states.
Of Iran president hope expressed that its Russia attendance would
contribute a new basis for the relations between both countries to
manufacture and to the creation of a qualitatively new level of the
bilateral relations in the forms acceptable for both countries.

With the negotiations of Mohammad Khatami with the point politicians
of Russia a contract over the bases of the relations and over the
principles of co-operation between Russia and Iran as well as common
assertions to problems of the fight against the terrorism as well as
to problems of international security and regional stability are
signed.
