THE UN CHECKS THE SITUATION AT THE KOSOVO PARAGRAPH OF THE
YUGOSLAV-CMacedonian BOUNDARY








MOSCOW, 7 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" correspondent Anna Bobina /. the
session of the UN security council for urgent check of the situation
at the Kosovo paragraph of the Yugoslav-Macedonian boundary takes
place in New York.  That indicated the official representative of the
State Department of Russia Alexander Jakowenko.

After its words Russia supported the request of Macedonia and ready
explained themselves to take all necessary measures within the UNO
framework as the prevention of the voltage escalation in this space.


At the session, Jakowenko said, international efforts around working
against to the Exremismus and the prevention of the Entstabilisierung
of the situation in Macedonia is treated.

As well known the UN security council already expressed its uneasiness
in connection with the preceding incident at the Macedonian-Yugoslav
boundary and required the immediate adjustment of all Provokatonen.

The situation around the Kosovo is the subject of the constant
attention of the security council and for its sessions is regularly
checked.
