PRESIDENT GEORGIENS ASKS CREDITOR COUNTRIES FOR ASSISTANCE ON WRITING
OFF OF A SECTION OF THE GEORGIAN DEBTS

Imedaschwili /. the president Georgiens Eduard Shevardnadze arranged
writing at the US president, the Federal Chancellor of Germany, the
prime minister of Great Britain and head of state of other creditor
countries with the request to contribute to the fact that that makes
Paris club a decision over the writing off of a section of the foreign
debts Georgiens.

In his relevant broadcast interview Eduard Shevardnadze that it would
be impossible, underlined not only over the writing off of debts to
speak but also over their restructuring if the parliament Georgiens
had not ratified the agreement over zero-version (renouncement of
debts and active of the USSR in favor of Russia).

Also the creditor countries, for which it is approaching to make a
decision for the question of the foreign debts Georgiens had seriously
recommended to consent to the zero-version explained Eduard
Shevardnadze.
