THE FRIENDSHIP EXCELLENTLY








TOKYO, 5 March.  (RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent
Wjatscheslaw Bantin).  Vice-president of the society Japan Russia
Toshihara Okada, well-known Japanese public politician, was
distinguished in Tokyo with the Russian medal of the friendship.

The state honor of the Russian federation was presented to Toshihara
Okada by the Russian Ambassador in Japan Alexander Panow.

" such humans such as Toshihara Okada are particularly today in
demand, as which Russian-Japanese relations occurs, said a
qualitatively new development phase " the boss of the Russian
diplomatic mission with the presentation of the honor.

Okada stressed for his part that strengthening and development of the
Russian-Japanese relations correspond to the interests of the two
states and a weighty contribution for strengthening stability and
Prosperitaet in the region represents.

Of Russia president Vladimir Putin signed in previous November the
decree over the honor of Toshihara Okada with the Russian medal of the
friendship for a large contribution for the development of the
relations between Russia and Japan.
