MACEDONIA REQUIRES URGENT SUMMONING OF THE UNCERTAINTY ADVICE









BELGRADE, 5 March.  / RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent Sergej
Rjabikin /. Macedonia required the urgent summoning of the session of
the UN security council in connection with drastic taper of the
situation at the boundary between this country and the Yugoslav region
Kosovo.

In the writing of the director/conductor of the State Department of
Macedonia Srdjan Kerim to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan the
necessity is underlined to prepare a plan and preventive measures for
adjustment the force.  Macedonia means that it is necessary to create
at its boundary with the Kosovo a security zone with the special
regime in writing is stressed.

The minister of foreign affairs of Macedonia explained itself ready to
come personally to New York and take part in the session of the
security council for this question.

The Macedonian authorities arranged similar writing to NATO
Secretary-General George Robertson, the high European Union
representative for questions of the outside and of the security
politics Javier Solana, the co-ordinator of the pact of stability for
South-east Europe Bodo Hombach as well as the minister of foreign
affairs of Greek country Yoryios Papandreou.

In Skopje it was indicated that in the result of the attendance of the
Italian general Carlo Cabigiousu, commander of the international peace
forces in the Kosovo (KFOR), in which Macedonian capital on Sunday and
its negotiations with the president of the country Boris Trajkovski
the pages had agreed over a common operational internal message of the
Macedonian army and the KFOR.  The details of this agreement are
provisionally unknown.

The Secretary of Defense of Macedonia Ljuben Paunovski explained also
the journalists that the guidance of the country can make a decision
over military operation for release the northern section of Macedonia,
which is already held for over two weeks by Albanian extremists.

To real possibility for such a development also the partial
mobilization of the police reservists in Skopje and other Macedonian
cities refers.  A decision over it was made on Saturday, after
Albanian separatists had killed three Macedonian army members.
