EES CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TSCHUBAIS ENDORSES BUILDING OF NEW ATOMIC POWER PLANTS IN RUSSIA MOSCOW, 1 March. (RIA "Nowosti" correspondent Natalia Schmonowa). The chairman of the board of the Russian current company uniform energy system (EES), Anatoli Tschubais, is convinced trailer of the building of new atomic power plants in Russia. As Tschubais said with a meeting with leading representatives of the diplomatic missions of European Union member countries and with representatives of the prominent European societies on Thursday in Moscow, he holds at the same time the building of ten to 15 new atomic power plants, planned by the atomic energy Ministry, in next time in Russia for hardly probable. Tschubais called to consider with the building of atomic power plants the circumstance that their transition, converted to a kilowatt-hour, is compared with steam gas-fired power stations unprofitable. In nine Russian atomic power plants to time 14 per cent of Russian current is produced.
