OF NIGERIA PRESIDENT MOSCOW VISITS ON 5.-7 MARCH








MOSCOW, the 1, March.  (RIA "Nowosti" rIA-"Nowosti"-Korrespondent).
The attendance of the Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo in Moscow,
which takes place on 5 or 7 March d.J., will be helpful for the
re-creation of the traditionally friendly relations with the African
continent, to avowed Abdullahi Sarki Muhtar, Ambassador Nigerias, on
Thursday on a press conference in Moscow.

The attendance is to re-establish according to it " all traditionally
friendly relations, which was diminished after the decay of the USSR
".  The Nigerian president will discuss the international problems in
the context of the developments on the African continent with the
guidance of Russia.  Large attention will apply also to
commercialeconomic co-operation between our countries.

According to Ambassador Nigerias a declaration over friendship between
Russia and Nigeria is to be signed to the results of the official
attendance.  As expected also several governing us giving coming over
technical, scientific, cultural and military-technical co-operation,
under it agreements with the Russian societies Gazprom and LUKOIL are
signed over the common explanation of the oil and natural gas stocks.
