RUSSIA TO RELEASE FIRST TRANCHE OF LOAN TO BELARUS MOSCOW, MARCH 14, 2001. /RIA Novosti correspondent Alla Isayeva/ -- Russia will be able to release the first tranche of the 30-million-dollar stabilisation loan to Belarus only after the terms of granting this loan are finalised, Alexei Kudrin, vice-premier and finance minister of Russia, told the press. Mr Kudrin stressed that experts of the two countries are currently completing work over the terms of the loan granting. The total amount of the stabilisation loan Russia is going to grant to Belarus accounts for USD 100 million.
